& Color Occasionally
If you read my most recent post on summer neutrals, you know how I operate. During the week, I stick to the classics. For me, that usually means black, cream, white, tan. It just makes getting dressed feel easy and pulled together without much effort. Can’t argue with it.
But once the weekend rolls around, I like to switch things up. That’s when the color comes out.
Reservation Dressing…
Weekend dinner plans are where I like to explore a bit. Still grounded in the classics but bringing in something unexpected. Not a full 180, just a subtle switch from autopilot to “let’s go out”.
Outfits Worth RSVPing For…
Then we have the events! The weddings, the summer parties, the why not wear something fun moments. That’s when I really like to lean in. More color, more print, more shape, more statement. Lately, that’s meant a lot of yellow. I didn’t plan it, but it keeps showing up. One bold blazer even made a few rounds (styled a bunch of different ways) just to show that color can be just as easy to wear on repeat as neutrals.
And to top it off…
A few Johanna Ortiz picks I’m loving right now because no one does color and print quite like she does.
